Falcata Synthetic Trainer V2
From Iberian (Spanish), this design works well for similar Greek weapons such as the Machaira or Kopis. It has a very forward balance point for a different feel for a sword. It has been referred to as "an axe with a handle".
What's in a name?
The nomenclature for this weapon is difficult. If it is found in Spain or Italy, it is called a Falcata, which refers to the hooked shape in Latin. If it is found in Greece, it can be interchangeably called either a kopis ("cleaver") or a makhaira (a general term for any curved blade). These are all the same weapon by different names.
