VB Ringhilt for our VB swords with screw on pommel. This guard works perfect on the Tournament Feder.
The Standard Italian Guard is a little thicker. So if you use the Ringhilt guard on the italian Blade, the nut in the pommel, may stick out slightly. Since the grip and pommel will screw down a little bit more. Typically only 1/8".
Using the italian guard, the pommel will not screw down as much, so you many need to shorter the grip b 1/4" or so for the nut to attach.
