I got the Shamshir basic trainer a while back and enjoy using it. This one feels a bit heavier in comparison, but that is expected since the blade is thicker. It’s fun to use and the extra curve can get you with a thrust if you’re not used to it. I will say the end of the blade doesn’t look two sided like in the picture.
