**** Ordering Procedure ****

FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTION LISTED HERE MAY RESULT IN CANCELLATION OF YOUR ORDER.

1. Order: Place order and select appropriate options (guard, backside, etc), check out and receive order number. Before checking out, see #2.
2. Email: From a civilian email address (when possible) email the engraving instructions and order number to [email protected] You cannot enter engraving instructions or insignia on the website, ALL information must be emailed.
3. If a response is not received from us within 24 hours of sending engraving instructions, check spam folder. If still no email please email [email protected]
4. Review proof and email us back with approval or corrections. Proof must be approved before engraving will begin.

Expedited shipping: If the order must be rushed or have expedited shipping you will receive a quote for extra charges.

NORMAL DELIVERY TIME IS 10 BUSINESS DAYS. IF YOU NEED SOONER PLEASE CHOOSE EXPEDITED SHIPPING. THIS TIME FRAME IS FOR ALL ENGRAVED RUDIS/AWARD ITEMS.

If you need the Rudis delivered by a certain date please note it on the order to ensure proper delivery time. Allow extra time for APO/FPO orders.

Precision laser engraving burns the wood for a permanent marking.

Standard Rudis - Made in USA, Best price, most common.
Old World Style - Made in India, More handmade look, more variation in quality and wood grain.
Victoria Style - Made in USA, Historic octagon grip and 2-tone color.
Ceasar - Made In USA, Octagon Grip, Black Blade, hand painted engraving, looks sharp, consistent, quality.
Ceasar w/Standard Grip - Made in USA, Lower price of Ceasar. Savings on the simpler grip.

A Rudis was a gift to a gladiator for a special achievement. This signified his release from a slave to a freeman. Our Rudis is an excellent and unique give for someone who has completed service in the military, retired, or completed an academic achievement.

• We can engrave a corporate logo, military insignia, and/or text in a variety of fonts. Email instructions to: [email protected] and include order number.

COSTS
Expedited Shipping
We will hold $15 over and above the shipping amount if your order is due 10 business days or less from the order date. This will expedite the process and eliminate the extra time to track down additional funds for fast shipping IF NEEDED. You can only choose UPS Ground for expedited service, we will manually choose the best shipping option to reach you in time.

Engraving
Engraving for the first side of the rudis blade engraving is included. Engraving on each side of the guard or back side blade is additional. Please choose options when placing the order.

Graphics
If we do not have the image on file, a one-time setup fee may be required. The cost will vary based upon complexity of the image. if you send a logo for approval before ordering You will be told which graphic fee to choose, otherwise choose 'no graphics fee'

Color
One, hand-painted color can be added for an additional $15 minimum charge. Multiple colors may be added on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss.

Darken Upgrade:
Standard engraving is very nice, but the darken can really enhance the *POP* of the sword.


BLANK RUDIS
If you'd like just the rudis, with no engraving, please TELL US! We will not process the order without emailed instructions. A note can also be made in the order comments.

We do up to 100 of these a week, and sometimes things are missed. Please do not wait until the due date to say you haven't received your item.
