Spear - 1-1/8" x Up to 94" - Spear Tip & Round Blunt

These are great! I bought two of the 7-1/2' hafts with the regular spear heads w/ butts and they are not holding up great I can tell from the feel of them that they will last a long while under some moderate to rough sparring. I do heavily recommend using your protective gear with these as hefty hafts easily smash fingers and the spear heads are unforgiving to unprotected ribs and face. Great tool

Spear is very nice and arrived with slight delay (weather related I'd imagine), has a nice weight and solid construction. Shaft took on a slight bend near the tip, but it is very minor. Shaft also has a smooth but firm grip. Spear head has nice flex and is fitted well. Definitely would order again and planning on ordering more at a later date.

I don't know when Purpleheart changed the design, but the old spear haft had a conical tip with a shoulder. The new design just has a conical tip. I like the new design because you can wedge the spear head on further, whereas the old design was limited by the shoulder.
