The Extra Heavy Cane is made of 2 layers of laminated Impact Grade Hickory. The shaft is not tapered. So that creates a heavier, stronger cane.

With Stainless Steel Pommel.

The weight is similar to the Heavy Cane, but it does not taper in thickness so the balance is different.

The cane is 1" thick throughout.

Heavy Cane

SS pommel has a scratch on top you can see and feel. Fitment of pommel left a chip in the top of the shaft plus an odd bevel around most of the shaft. QC must have been off that day. Now as a heavy cane this thing is awesome. I sized it to a perfect OAL of 35 inches.
