Works for feders, synthethic swords, and real swords. No complaints. Provides better grip, and protects the handle leather grip from coming loose.

Sword Handle Grip Tape
It is not sticky like hockey grip tape. Much better. Wished I found this sooner. Only complaint, is it's super skinny on girth. So it takes forever to wrap my greatsword and longsword and odachi handles.

Strong and a bit grippy
This is skinny (about 1/2") gaffers tape. It's just the thing for repairing damage to your sword grip.
